Llandudno Hair BnB

A group of Llandudno goats turned up last night needing dinner and somewhere to stay for the night. The whole street was able to accommodate their needs.

Archetypal Symbols

Symbolism has appeared in every human culture. The belief that there are patterns or tendencies organising nature and human experience. For instance, the role of a Jester is to act as a mirror in which those in authority see their own foolishness. Shakespeare knew how to use riddles and humour, indirectly offering them insight.

Confucious is said to have asserted that, “Signs and symbols rule the world, not words or laws.”

Ladies v Gents

The first test of the Ladies v. Gents competition this season will be held this afternoon. If you haven’t yet signed up, there’s still time to sign up this morning, if you intend to take part. This season we intend to run a test series of 3 matches on this theme. Having an idea of numbers will help us determine whether the first test match is singles, doubles or triples. P.S. If it’s as cold again as last night, remember to wrap up warm.

Know Your ABC’s

Another day of mixed fortunes in the Clwydian League yesterday. The team of the day was our ‘C’ Team that achieved a 3rd win out of 3-games played this season, resulting in the team sitting regally in 2nd place in their Division. Very well done everyone.

Coincidentally, our ‘A’ and ‘B’ Teams played Denbigh ‘A’ and ‘B’ Teams in their respective Divisions. The ‘A’ Team achieved its second 6:6 draw of the season, and the ‘B’ Team had a challenging afternoon on the Denbigh green.
