Green Closed 1st August

Win, Win, Win, Win

Today is the Day

Thoughts for the Day

Walk the Plank

Hold Your Breath

Gay and Sue

When bowling, it is important to concentrate and keep your eye on the line. This method usually results in very serious expressions as beautifully demonstrated here by Gay and Sue. They are truly having fun, despite the outward demeanour.

Bring It In and Bring It On

Our Club’s Charity Day takes place on Sunday with the Spider competition (£1) plus the bowling match. (£2.50). Volunteers will spend Saturday preparing for the following day, so please remember to bring in any raffle and tombola donations before Saturday morning. On Sunday you will need to bring yourself (minimum), plenty of dough and your bowls.

Don’t forget your bowls

Countdown: 6-Days To Go

Next Sunday is the Club’s special event to raise funds for the local primary school in Deganwy to help them provide a shed to serve vegetables and healthy food options to the children. In the same way that playing bowls is a great way of staying fit and healthy, the outcome of the day will be our way of supporting the good health of the children in our local school.

The Spider will be the first event of the day so arrive by 1:00pm if you want to take part in it. The bowling event will start at 1:30pm, straight after the Spider.

News: Rain Doesn’t Stop Play!

The second of the Vardre Deganwy trips to the Prestatyn Indoor Bowling Centre took place on Friday. Ironically, it was a lovely sunny day outside. Another visit is bound to be arranged so do take the opportunity to try out indoor bowling with tuition by our very own John Probyn and Gay Hiçdönmez. Click Here for a few photos of the day.
