Last Night

Marina’s ‘B’ Team in the Colwyn Bay and Llandudno League played last night at Penrhyn New Hall versus their ‘C’ Team. Our Team had a marvellous win, putting it at the top of the Division. And the icing on the cake is the fact that Elaine and Linda are now the top two players in the Individual Division Averages Listing. Well done everyone.

It’s In Another Dimension

It transpires that our diagram of the green with all the dimensions displayed is currently locked in the shed. You might think this is an odd place to display it but, apparently, it was a way of saving space in the Clubhouse (just kidding).

“OK, as soon as they open that shed door, you run in there and grab that diagram.”

Wintry April

Our ‘B’ Team in the Colwyn Bay and Llandudno Wednesday evening league played their first match this week. Due to the weather there were no photographs and all the players are probably still drying off and trying to get warm again.

Shopping Trip

After racing past a Dental surgery (as most of us tend to do), the goats finally reach their favourite shop in Llandudno only to find it closed.

Seeing Stars

Our ‘B’ Team stars played a blinder on 5th April in very trying and unusual circumstances but the team now sits proudly in 3rd place in their Division. A great start to the Clwydian League season. Well done everyone. (Post updated 7th April 2022).

So Near and Yet …

Yesterday, the ‘A’ Team was just one point away from securing a sixth winner in the match versus Abergele ‘A’ that would have resulted in a Draw. (There’d be a photo but the weather meant everyone was keen to leave at the end of the match. Perhaps a cartoon will give you an imagined view of it all).
