Platinum Jubilee of the Reign of Queen Elizabeth II

Whatever you are doing today – a Street Meet or Party, Barbecue in the garden with family and friends, feet up in front of the TV or listening to the radio (wireless), or perhaps you will be out crown green bowling. No matter what, enjoy your day and just imagine what it must be like to be working in the same role for 70-years and still not having reached retirement age at 96-years old.
Congratulations and Best Wishes to Queen Elizabeth II, long may she reign.

Game On
The ‘A’ and ‘B’ Teams in the North Wales Coast League had time on their hands today so Ian created a day of dastardly games for the teams to play. After a very enjoyable round of Bolf for everyone, the ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams were pitted against each other in triples and the ‘B’ Team came out the victor. Well done everyone who took part in the day including markers. Looking forward to the rematch.
A Moment in Time

Carole W launches her clipboard into the air in an excited, but fruitless, attempt to start a Mexican Wave whilst Eddie looks horrified at the prospect of being photographed. Meanwhile, Ray tells Lynn one of his jokes and John C appreciates John P’s anecdote.

Hi, I am a sheep (photo). Has anyone seen my coat? I had it earlier! Oh no – I’ve been fleeced.
Wise Monkeys?
Islwyn returns to the green to take part in the Best Baseball Cap Competition, competing with Dave P and Bob. After judging, there was no outright winner so all three got a prize, i.e. they were allowed to stand at the top of the steps for a few minutes and then all three burst into a rendition of Joe Cocker’s song “You Can Leave Your Hat On”. Great stuff guys.
