Thursday Friendly

“The Thursday Friendlies start this week on 12th May. We are at home against Craig y Don. If you want to play, make sure you arrive before 1:30pm. Just £1 will get you an afternoon of entertainment, a tea or coffee and a sun tan, we hope. Bargain!” Dave H

Friendly Thursday

OK, calling all members. We are hosting a friendly on Thursday 12th May but currently we only have one doubles team entered from Vardre Deganwy versus 10-doubles teams from Craig-y-Don. Now, it is a lot to expect just two people to play 10-games! However, if you have the afternoon free, please put your name down to play and have an afternoon on the green in good company. Sign-up on the noticeboard to play and have an afternoon of fun.

Our Friendlies have always been well-supported hence they have continued into this season but, if we can’t fill the slots, then this event may totally disappear due to lack of support. See how happy people are at our events:-

So Close

David RJ keeps score whilst John and Brian race each other to be the first to finish their ice cream. John takes lots of small bites and moves marginally into a slim lead whilst Brian builds up to the just-shove-it-all-in-manoeuvre.

Resolute and Determined

Both our ‘A’ and ‘B’ Teams in the Clwydian league played Rhuddlan teams yesterday and our Teams won both matches.
