“With no League matches scheduled for Saturday May 21st, and the possibility that our green could be requested as a venue for the Welsh Merit Qualifiers, I shall try to organise another fun event for the following day (we shall see what kind of response we get for a Sunday event).” Ian Wilson. Team Marina watched every end of the last game of a very successful Preliminary Round Cup Competition win on Wednesday night (‘B’ Team – photo below courtesy of Elaine Beech). Most of the opposition had left before the end of the match!

The ‘A’ Team also played in a Preliminary Round of the Cup Competition and it too came away with a resounding win to progress to the next round.
