Cup Matches on 20th May
Yes, its Cup Competition Match time for the teams in the Clwydian League. Get prepared for playing on Friday at the usual start time of 2:15pm (probably). No roll-up for any team:
- John Cartwright’s ‘A’ Team will play their Preliminary Round Cup Match on Friday 20th May versus Denbigh ‘A’ at the Min-y-Don Bowling Green.
- John Barrington’s ‘B’ Team has a Bye in the Preliminary Round so their first Cup Match will be a Quarter Final Match versus Min-y-Don that will be held on Friday 10th June (venue to be advised).
- John Probyn’s ‘C’ Team will play their Preliminary Round Cup Match on Friday 20th May versus Grove Park ‘B’ at the Trefnant Bowling Green.
Doubles
The Friendly match held on Thursday versus Craig-y-Don Bowling Club was very well attended and the day went really well with plenty of sunshine and really good games played. ‘C’ Team’s 1st Win – Congrats
“Congratulations to the Vardre Deganwy ‘C’ Team, in the Clwydian League, that won it’s first match of the Season this week. With an 8-4 match and agg score (181-178) it was an impressive win. This new team is building in confidence week-on-week and I am very proud of every member as each one contributed to the winning aggregate score. Well done Team.” Captain John P
