Team photographs are now being taken. Will Team Captains’ please contact Diane to let her know when you are having a team practice, and also ask your team members to wear their team shirts for the photograph. If any team members are absent then they will have to be photographed at another time and added on to the side of the main photo. Once league matches commence, it will be less convenient to take the photographs. Let’s fill those walls in the Clubhouse. Thank you.

The Good Fight

Our Ladies Team, Captained by Carol B, had an excellent experience playing in the BCGBA’s Ladies Team Tournament held yesterday in Fleetwood & Cleveley’s. It was a mix of wins and losses, and we were so pleased to have achieved our best points win of the day against the eventual tournament winners – Springbank (Oldham). Our grateful thanks to Konrad for sponsorship by MKM Building Supplies, Llandudno Junction. A few more photos will appear on the News and Events page in a day or two.
We also appreciated the encouragement and moral support given at the event by Judy Hughes (WCGBA and the Clwydian Ladies League) and her partner, also to Ian and Kath Wilson, plus John Farman and especial thanks to Steve Bolton who quietly beavered away helping to mark and support the team. It was a long journey there and back, so thank you all.
