Shan Eccles – Artist in Residence
Weekly Reminder: Our very own Shan Eccles, not only a bowler extraordinaire, is to be the Artist in Residence at this year’s Gŵyl Beaumaris Festival 2021 from 19th to 21st November. Here’s a link to the Festival’s website and to Shan’s page in particular.

Art Exhibition Opening: Shan Eccles
At 2:30 pm on Friday 19th November 2021, the event will be opened by the Mayor. Shan will be the “Artist in Residence” over all 3-days of the Festival with her works on display in the Centre, so do pop along to give her your support and to see her full Exhibition.
Official Opening with Art Exhibition is on at the Canolfan Hamdden Beaumaris / Beaumaris Leisure Centre, Rating Row, Beaumaris, Anglesey LL58 8AL.

Sea Safety
Locals know that that there are rafts permanently sited in the Conwy Estuary in case anyone gets cut-off by the incoming tide. Advice from NCI Great Orme (National Coastwatch Institution Great Orme) states: “Four YELLOW Rescue Rafts are situated at strategic points on the sand banks, if you are cut off you should make your way to one of these and await rescue ….”.
