Next Stop – the Top
John P, Captain of our ‘C’ Team, plays indoor bowls for Ffrith Bowling Team that plays out of the indoor bowling centre, Prestatyn. This week the team played a Semi-Final match in the Men’s Over-60’s Welsh National Indoor Bowling Championship against Abertawe (Swansea) and beat them. The Ffrith Team is now through to the Final, also to be held in Llandrindod Wells.
Former Club Junior
Congratulations to Alexander Marshall-Wilson (aged-18), a former junior bowls player at the Vardre Deganwy Bowling Club, who has won a Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) tennis doubles wheelchair competition, and also came runner-up in a singles event. Practice Makes Perfect
Just a reminder to all that the ‘B’ Team in the Colwyn and Llandudno Wednesday night league has booked the green between 2pm and 4pm this afternoon as a practice session.
