Music to Our Ears?
What You Didn’t See!
No, not the knobbly knees competition (not this time, anyway). This was a “knee operation scar comparison” event, held during the Festival week, between Eddie and Alan. Eddie demonstrates the scar from his knee operation held some years ago. Whilst Alan demonstrates his scars from recent operations on each of his knees.
The Festival is Over
The weather has been exceptionally kind over the past 6-days. All competitions in the Festival were completed on time. Congratulations to all the entrants and also to Rhos Park Bowling Club for running such a successful event. Here are a few photos from the Over-60’s Quarter & Semi-Finals held at Rhos on Sea Bowling Club plus a few photos from the finals day at Rhos Park Bowling Club yesterday.

Final Day of the Colwyn Bowls Festival
After 5-days and evenings of tough competition, all the Finals of each competition will be held today at Rhos Park Bowling Club – the Organiser of this great Festival. The Team of Organisers has done a superb job, and supported by local clubs: Vardre Deganwy, Rhos-on-Sea, Penrhyn New Hall, Mochdre Park, Min y Don, Old Colwyn and Eirias Park, where many preliminary rounds and some Quarter Finals have been held.
Here are a few photo reminders of the week at Vardre Deganwy.
