The Last Match
Today is the final match of the season in the North Wales Coast Bowling League with Vardre Deganwy ‘A’ Team playing their game at Pen y Groes, but the ‘B’ Team have a Bye today so their final match was a week ago. With some team members sneaking in a holiday before the end of the season, it’s fortunate that the ‘B’ Team members will be available for selection with the benefit of a day out. Have a great day everyone.

Hearing Things
Rolling On plus a Knock Out
Mixed fortunes for our team representatives in yesterday’s Merits for the Colwyn & Llandudno League. Ian, representing our ‘A’ Team, lost his first game and, as usual for Ian, it was a day of very wet weather, with large puddles all over the Rhuddlan green. Next time Ian. Tommy was managing the day’s event for the League.

Meanwhile elsewhere, John P also got wet but had better luck. Here’s his day’s story from his Captain Marina: “John P represented the Vardre B team at the qualifiers held today at Penrhyn New Hall. Excellent news – John won both of his games. 21:14 and 21:20 . The latter was a very long game, but John held on with such determination. Congratulations John🎉- well done and THANK YOU for representing us . John will be bowling and representing us again next Sunday at Colwyn’s President’s Day held at Penmaenmawr Bowling Green 2pm start. Please come along, if you can, and give John your support.”
