Sue Kirkham, our Club Secretary, sent out a news email on 20th June, packed full of interesting items and some requests. An enclosure with the email was the Club’s new membership form. This form, when completed, will ensure that the Club Secretary has up to date information. So, the Club would be very grateful if all members, new and existing, would complete the form. Print it at home, if you are able to do so, complete it and pop it into the letterbox in the clubhouse as soon as possible. Click Here to access the form so that you can print it.
Diary Reminder
If you want to know where each team is playing in the coming week or you want to look for any special events that are coming up, then just go to the Diary page where there are two diaries coverings ongoing and special events. 📅 📅
Mark’s Time
Hopefully everyone at the club has now made the acquaintance of Mark Ball. Ian Wilson has written a very interesting little pastiche about Mark and his (legal) exploits. So Click Here to find out why Ian says about him, “Where does he find the time?”
Photo Update
This year’s Team photographs are now up on the walls of the Clubhouse. And, you might have noticed, that they are now also on the website’s Team Talk page. So, to see each photo, Click Here to go to the list of teams then click on the team, or teams, that you are interested in.
Ladies v Gents Today
Today will be Vardre Deganwy’s internal competition of ladies versus gents. Which team will come out on top this time? Be at the green between 1:00pm to 1:30pm to register if you would like to play, with games starting at 1:30pm.

Charity Day 6th July
The Social Committee has been working hard in preparation for our bowling club’s annual charity event. This year the Wales Air Ambulance has been chosen because they were instrumental in helping to save the life of one of our bowling colleagues who collapsed on our green earlier in the season. Please put it in your diary so that you can be there and support our hardworking team and the club’s Annual Charity. Donations of raffle prizes will be very welcome, i.e. groceries, drinks, wine (also a drink) and toiletries.
Cups Ahoy
Click Here to read Ian’s update on our teams progress in the cup competitions in the Colwyn & Llandudno League and the Clwydian League.
Artisan Event
This event will take place on Sunday the 15th June – it’s the Bodnant Welsh Food Artisan Market. It will be open from 10:00am to 4:00pm with more than 30 stalls to browse or buy good local produce. Click Here to find out more about this event.
