“Right Eddie, which is the largest room in the World?”
“Well Gary, there is only one room I know of that could be the largest room in the World – the room for improvement.”

At the end of the 2019 Season, the ‘A’ Team won promotion to the ‘B’ Division in the League. Due to Covid, any matches played since then have been friendlies. Today the league resumed and the new team, made up of previous players and a few newbies, had its first match in the ‘B’ Division against one of the two teams that had been relegated at the end of 2019 from the ‘A’ Division. A tough start but the team had 4-wins and only missed out on the extra Aggregate points by 4-points.
The ‘B’ Team also had a challenging game in the ‘D’ Division and achieved 3-wins Away from Home but they too were playing one of the 2-teams relegated in 2019 from the Division above.
Click Here to read Ian’s write-up about the Easter Handicap Competition held on Thursday. It includes the results from every game so, if you don’t want to know the results, look away now.

The blackbirds are working non-stop at the moment to find fresh mealworms to feed to their chicks but they are very vulnerable to predators. So please help feed the parent birds so that they have the energy to keep up their search for food for their little ones and to have the strength to keep them safe from magpies, cats, etc. Thank you.
The ‘A’ Team had a very successful evening last night with a convincing win. The Team is now in 4th place in the Division with the extra benefit of a game in hand over all three teams above. The ‘B’ Team had a Bye and many of them, together with other Vardre Members, kindly came along to watch and support the ‘A’ Team. Well done to the Team and thanks to all the spectators.
Members of the Club are still sought as entrants for the pairs competition (Click Here for details) to be held on Thursday 21st April 2022. Just another 7 or 8 people are needed so please dust off your bowls. Ian will sort people into pairs if they have not entered as a pair. Yes, it is called the Easter Competition, but be assured that no-one will be asked to dress in an Easter Bunny outfit nor wear an Easter Bonnet (unless you want to do so, of course).
Come on folks – be brave – gird up your loins and pop your name on the list in the Clubhouse. Remember, there will be PRIZES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There were wins in their respective Divisions yesterday for our ‘A’ and ‘B’ Teams with a loss for our newly formed ‘C’ Team. The ‘B’ Team is now 4th in their Division with a game in hand over the three teams above them. Well played everyone, and always remember that if you are ever asked what breed of dog can jump higher than buildings, you will know to answer that any dog can because buildings can’t jump.
The Ladies Team had a great start to the season of friendly matches with an Away Win. There is always a healthy wind blowing in Llandudno that kept everyone on the move so as to keep warm.
