This weekend is the Llandudno BSRA National Scooter Rally Trade and Custom Show. BSRA = British Scooter Rally Association. So, if you have a Lambretta, or the like, wanting an outing, you know where to go. Trade show opens 10:30am plus Live Bands and DJs on Saturday night.

Traditionally, Rag Dolls are home-made from scraps of material and used as comforting objects and to encourage nurturing skills. The British Museum has a rag doll exhibit that was made by the Romans. The Quarter Finals, Semi-Finals and the Final of this competition were held on Sunday 15th October 2023 at Heaton Park, Manchester. The winning Club was Pudsey (Yorkshire), beating Greville Arms (Warwick & Worcester) by 161:131 points. For those of you who have already paid and signed up to play at Craig y Don during their winter period, just a reminder that it will be open from next week.
“Krufts Dog Show” will take place on Sunday 22nd October 2023 on the seafront at West Shore. This is a local initiative organised by Town Councillor Carol Marubi for a day of fun, with proceeds to go to Frontline Medical Services in Ukraine. If you have a dog, go along and enter. If you don’t have a dog, go along and watch. A large group of pet dogs in one place is usually very entertaining and they will all have their owners with them to add to the entertainment. Registration is at 10:00am and the event should end around 12:30-1:00pm.

A local squirrel can answer this question through practical demonstration as it carefully works its way through a tray of raisins, one at a time, after it had checked the hazel tree for nuts.
