Hallowe’en (All Hallows Eve) is celebrated on 31st October, the day before All Saints Day (All Hallows Day) on 1st November. However, it is now a more worldly event rather than the ancient spiritual celebration it used to be.

Tonight is Firework night in Llandudno. For one of the best views, get down to the Promenade where you can see the light from the fireworks in the sky reflected in the sea too.

Just Scoot Along
This weekend is the Llandudno BSRA National Scooter Rally Trade and Custom Show. BSRA = British Scooter Rally Association. So, if you have a Lambretta, or the like, wanting an outing, you know where to go. Trade show opens 10:30am plus Live Bands and DJs on Saturday night.

Traditionally, Rag Dolls are home-made from scraps of material and used as comforting objects and to encourage nurturing skills. The British Museum has a rag doll exhibit that was made by the Romans. World Club Championship 2023 – Crown Green Bowls
The Quarter Finals, Semi-Finals and the Final of this competition were held on Sunday 15th October 2023 at Heaton Park, Manchester. The winning Club was Pudsey (Yorkshire), beating Greville Arms (Warwick & Worcester) by 161:131 points. The 3-Clubs from Wales were eliminated in the qualifying rounds on 8th October: Rhos Park; Broughton & Bretton; and, Escluesham. Click Here for full results on BCGBA website.
