Countdown

A reminder to Members that the Club’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 28th November 2023 at Craig y Don Community Centre. Do get in some exercise in the meantime so that you are in peak condition and ready to vote and otherwise fully participate in the event.

Be Prepared

The infamous Black Friday sales, when companies give some special purchase deals, will fall on 24th November 2023. Sometimes they run for a few days and sometimes deals will pop up in advance. So, if you want something specific, check out its price in various places before the day and see if that item gets reduced on the 24th.

Fly Past for Remembrance Day

Two Hawk T2 of XXV Squadron will overfly the Llandudno Memorial today at 14:35 as a salute to Llandudno’s fallen. They are undertaking this flypast as part of a planned sortie, to pay their respects, and for the benefit of the Blind Veterans Association and the people of Llandudno. Remembrance Sunday Events

Remembrance Day is commemorated at the 11th hour on 11th November every year. This year, official events will be held in Conwy area on Sunday 12th November 2023:-

Colwyn Bay: 9:45am Service at St. Paul’s Church. 10:30 Parade forms up on Woodland Road East. 10:40 Parade from St. Paul’s Church to War Memorial, Queen’s Gardens.

Llandudno: 9:45am Service of Remembrance at The Church of the Holy Trinity followed by remembrance service at the War Memorial.

Penrhyn Bay: 10:15 Service of Remembrance to be held at Penrhynside Village Hall followed by remembrance service at the War Memorial.

Crafty Meeting

It’s get-together morning today from 10:30-12:30 at the Clubhouse. Gay, Rosina and Sylvia will be there to welcome you. Enjoy the meet up with like-minded souls.
