Wha-Hey, What a Day!

Well the tables have been cleared, the washing-up done and the last people to leave have finally reached home again. The photographs will appear here in due course but there are a few to work through. Watch this space but, in the meantime, here’s a little taster ….

Mary and Shan mug Carol for money for raffle tickets whilst John watches on with shaking knees as he knows he’s next! Great fundraising for the Club though, with a total of £164.00ish. Good job ladies.

Munch Your Lunch

Today’s the day of the Club’s Christmas Luncheon. Please remember to take your Lateral Flow Test (LFT) this morning so we can all keep each other as safe as possible, especially whilst the Omicron variant is busy trying to out-do the other variants around the country.

See No Sea

Ooops, the tide’s out on Llandudno’s West Shore (photo taken in September) but there’s the Vardre (middle left of photo) where plenty of bowling continues whatever the amount of water in the estuary.

2nd-Smallest City in Britain

According to the 2011 Census, St. Asaph is the 2nd-smallest City in Britain. Our teams are lucky enough to travel around North Wales to other bowling clubs to play league matches. St. Asaph (below) is one of the clubs visited which is near the River Elwy below the town.

Christmas Lunch during these Testing Times

Dave H has sent out information about the Christmas Lunch on Tuesday. Please CLICK HERE to read it in full.

N.B. Mark Drakeford, First Minister for Wales, said today (10/12/21) in the Coronavirus Briefing: “‘Flow Before You Go’, that means taking a Lateral Flow Test (LFT) before you go out whether to a Christmas Party, Christmas Shopping, visiting friends or family, going to any crowded or busy place and before travelling.”

This small gesture will show how much we care about everyone around us. Thank you all for helping to keep everyone as safe as possible.
