Crystal Balls?

Although this looks like Bunty and Steve are Obsidian Black crystal ball gazing, preparing to give Sue a psychic reading, black Obsidian is technically not a true crystal. It is, however, a form of igneous rock that can be classified as natural glass. What is igneous rock? It forms when hot, molten rock crystallises and then solidifies. No wonder they are holding them like hot potatoes.

Bright As a Button

Amazing how a river can look like the brightest thing in the landscape on a dark day in the middle of winter. Here the River Conwy looks positively charged with electricity. No special effects needed.

If any of you are wondering what Captain John B is up to when not on the bowling green this Autumn, then here is the answer – he is acting as a sophisticated standard lamp base for different types of lamp shades. Not a bad look at all.
