Llandudno Beacon Lighting Event to Commemorate, on 6th June 2024, the 80th D-Day Anniversary

Tour of Britain
No, not us, sadly. But the 2024 Tour of Britain Women’s Cycling event will be arriving in Llandudno on 6th June, having cycled earlier that day from Welshpool via the western side of the Conwy Valley. The WCGBA Gwyn Morris Men’s Merits Qualifying round, held yesterday on the Vardre Deganwy green, resulted in Bryn Hughes, Joe Pritchard, Geraint Jones and Jason Jones qualifying for the final to be held on 23rd June 2024. Llandudno Transport Festival
The Festival is back for another year. The organisers also manage a ‘Road Run’ for vintage vehicles at 6:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday evenings. On Saturday the Road Run will travel from Llandudno to Conwy and back. On Sunday, they will take Marine Drive around the Great Orme.
