The WCGBA Gwyn Morris Men’s Merits Qualifying round, held yesterday on the Vardre Deganwy green, resulted in Bryn Hughes, Joe Pritchard, Geraint Jones and Jason Jones qualifying for the final to be held on 23rd June 2024. “There’s No Place Like Home”
On 17th May 1970, one of the pairs of ruby slippers worn by Judy Garland in the film “The Wizard of Oz” was bought at an MGM Studio Auction by an anonymous buyer for $15,000. They then donated the pair of slippers to the Smithsonian Institution.
