The 1st First of the Day was the Vardre Winter Bowling Team playing the 1st Winter League Match of the Winter Season at Betws yn Rhos Bowling Club. This was also, of course, the team’s 1st Match of the Season versus the Seahawks. After a 10am start, Vardre won their 1st match of the season by 8:2.
The next 1st of the Day was the Darts first meeting since last Winter. With arrows flying around the clubhouse the teams had a draw then Sue Sutcliffe ran out the overall “Round the Clock” winner.
Also, another 1st of the Day was the first meeting of Dominoes players in the Clubhouse. Do dots and darts mix? They certainly do. With heads down around the tables, everyone played hard.
