Just when you were all ready to put your feet up at home, here are some advance dates for your diary from the Committee. More details to be provided in due course:
| 10th September 2022 2pm Start | North Wales Coast Bowling League Merits Qualifying Rounds (prior to President’s Day at Conwy Bowling Green on 17th September 2022). Vardre Deganwy ‘A’ and ‘B’ Teams will play their qualifying round at Old Colwyn Bowling Green. Our ‘A’ Team will have a +2 start and our ‘B’ Team a +6 start. On the same day, teams from other clubs will play their qualifying round on Vardre Deganwy Bowling Green. So, if you don’t get to Old Colwyn to watch our teams, then pop down to our green instead. |
| 11th September 2022 2pm Start | 2:00pm we will be hosting the preliminary rounds of the Colwyn and Llandudno Presidents Day (18th Sept). If you can help, please come along. Come along anyway. |
| 12th September 2022 | Closing Date for Clwydian League players to enter a Pairs Competition to be played on 16th September 2022 at 10:30am at Dyserth and Rhos-on-Sea. £5.00 per pair to enter, only 2-pairs per team may enter. To enter, contact John Dowber 01492 532108. Final to be played at Abergele on 23rd September 2022. |
| 16th September 2022 | Qualifying round of Clwydian League Pairs Competition to be held at Dyserth and Rhos-on-Sea (entry pre-12th September). |
| 17th September 2022 | North Wales Coast Bowling League President’s Day at Conwy Bowling green. |
| By end of September 2022 | Add your name to league lists in clubhouse if you want to play in one or more of the leagues next year. |
| Anytime | If you would like to offer your help with the green or general maintenance then please have a word with Ian, David L or Tommy. |
| By end of September 2022 | If you want to take a more active role in the club, get someone to nominate you and add your names to the list in the clubhouse. See what options are available on the noticeboard. Voting at AGM in November. |
| 18th September 2022 | President’s Day for the Colwyn & Llandudno League 2022 Season is to be held at Mochdre Bowling Club. Vardre Deganwy ‘A’ Team will receive the Division ‘B’ Winners trophy. |
| 18th September 2022 | Walled Towns Competition at Denbigh. An annual competition involving 4-clubs that includes Vardre Deganwy. Starts at 10:30am. |
| 22nd September 2022 | Closing Fours Competition at Vardre Deganwy. Add your name in advance to the entry list in the clubhouse. |
| 23rd September 2022 | Ensure you have submitted your club survey comments by today to Ian W (circulated in August). |
| 23rd September 2022 | Final of Clwydian League Pairs Competition at Abergele. |
| 29th September 2022 | Finals at Vardre Deganwy of both the Alpha Cup and the Hornby Cup. |
| 7th October 2022 | Clwydian League Merit Qualifying round (greens to be confirmed). |
| 9th October 2022 | Vardre Deganwy green closes for the winter today at 5:00pm. |
| 11th October 2022 | Clwydian League President’s Day 11:00am at Highbury. |
| 25th November 2022 | Annual General Meeting. |
| Sometime prior to 25th December 2022 | Club Christmas Luncheon Party (you have been warned!) |
