Gay practises her Rag Doll impression between ends on the green.

Traditionally, Rag Dolls are home-made from scraps of material and used as comforting objects and to encourage nurturing skills. The British Museum has a rag doll exhibit that was made by the Romans. Click Here to find out more about their exhibit although remember that theirs is over 2,000 years old whilst Gay is just a youngster (and human) in comparison.

The Quarter Finals, Semi-Finals and the Final of this competition were held on Sunday 15th October 2023 at Heaton Park, Manchester. The winning Club was Pudsey (Yorkshire), beating Greville Arms (Warwick & Worcester) by 161:131 points. The 3-Clubs from Wales were eliminated in the qualifying rounds on 8th October: Rhos Park; Broughton & Bretton; and, Escluesham. Click Here for full results on BCGBA website.
