Opening Time
Llandudno Dog Show
“Krufts Dog Show” will take place on Sunday 22nd October 2023 on the seafront at West Shore. This is a local initiative organised by Town Councillor Carol Marubi for a day of fun, with proceeds to go to Frontline Medical Services in Ukraine. If you have a dog, go along and enter. If you don’t have a dog, go along and watch. A large group of pet dogs in one place is usually very entertaining and they will all have their owners with them to add to the entertainment. Registration is at 10:00am and the event should end around 12:30-1:00pm.

Are Raisins a Healthy Choice?
A local squirrel can answer this question through practical demonstration as it carefully works its way through a tray of raisins, one at a time, after it had checked the hazel tree for nuts. Click Here to read what the BBC good food club has to say about raisins. Although it doesn’t mention benefits to squirrels, you might surmise that the squirrel knows its onions.

The Proof Was in the Pudding
Gwyn enjoys research into local history and has identified an interesting fact that there is a link between the location of The Manor at Gorse Hill (Cymryd – site of the Battle of the River Conwy) and Vardre, via a direct descendant of Maelgwn Gwynedd, i.e. Anarawd ap Rhodri.
