Chairman Marina and President Shan

With an excellent turnout of members for the Opening Day of the green, Chairman Marina Roberts opened proceedings, with additional words from the President Shan Eccles. Shan then sent the first bowl of the season which was cheered by members to its final position, just a few inches from the jack. An auspicious start to the season.

The Club Opens Today for the 2025 Season

Volunteers have worked hard over the past couple of days to get the grounds and clubhouse ready for today’s opening. Arrive before 1:00pm as the Club’s President Shan Eccles will roll the first bowl of the season and the green will then be open to members.

Gloves were the order of the day yesterday, and on Thursday. Hazel, with gloves off, and Elaine with gloves on whilst Marina searches for hers.

Help Today Please

Help needed at the Club today please in preparation for the Opening Day of the Green. Please be at the club from 10:00am to 12 noon (or just half an hour if you can spare it). All sorts of jobs need to be done with the proverbial “many hands make light work” projected outcome. Thank you.

Only 6-days To Go

The Vardre Deganwy green will open for the new season next Saturday at 1:00pm when the Club President Shan will roll the first bowl. Some light refreshments will also be available.
