Last week Betws-yn-Rhos Bowling Club replaced its old bowling surface with a brand new one. Linda has very kindly shared with us some photographs of the work that took place so Click Here if you would like to see what happened.
Competing for Promotion

Our ‘B’ Team kept alive their hopes of promotion at the end of the season yesterday by beating their opponents 9:3. Still with a game in hand over the team in 3rd place (just above our team), and with 2-matches left to play, good wins coupled with good results for the other teams playing the current 2nd-placed team, could give an outside chance to our bowlers. However, 3rd-place overall is a really good possibility.
“Keep it Going”, is often heard as an encouraging call on the green, and so it also applies to the final two games. Good luck everyone.
So Near and Yet So Far

The team members all played very well at Bryn Newydd, with a very creditable 6-wins-to-4. The Team just missed out on winning the Aggregate by only a single-point (160:159), so the final result was a 6-All Draw. Remember, that it is always a good result when you don’t lose an Away match. Congratulations to the Team for playing so well and ending the season in such impressive fashion.
