Yes, hot off the press, at the U3A’s practice on the Vardre Deganwy green yesterday, members were shown the joys of ‘striking’ with a bowl. Giggles of glee and success plus groans of frustration as each person tried to hit, at speed, a bowl sitting on the jack.

North Wales Coast Teams are in action today. Our ‘A’ Team plays Criccieth at Home whilst the ‘B’ Team is Away to Abergele. 2:00pm start. There is also a Food Festival on in Caernarfon today. And don’t forget the Pirate Festival in Conwy today and tomorrow.

Both our ‘A’ and ‘B’ Teams earned a 6:6 draw in their matches on Saturday. Well played everyone in Ian’s and Elaine’s teams.

For the third time this week, our ‘A’ Team plays a team from Rhuddlan although today it will be on their green. Our ‘B’ Team plays at home versus East Parade today, and some of our players played another team from East Parade here on Thursday evening.
