In 1981, on 12th April, the space shuttle Columbia was launched for the first time. Setting off from Cape Canaveral in Florida, taking 54-hours to do 36-orbits of the earth before touching down in Edward’s Air Force Base in California.

The Welsh Crown Green Bowling Association will be 100-years old in 2026.
