Sunday 6th April @ 1:30pm The ‘Opening Fours’ doubles competition, starting at 1.30pm prompt. If you intend to play, please arrive for 1:00pm.

Green in Use This Afternoon

Please note that our Clwydian ‘B’ & ‘C’ Teams will be practising on the green this afternoon. Only a week now until the start of the Clwydian League season.

Friendly Afternoon

There will be a friendly match this afternoon on our green between members of the Vardre Deganwy North Wales Coast League and Bangor City. Good luck everyone and enjoy it.

If you haven’t heard the news yet, today is the day for lunch for Club members at the Afonconwy, Brewers Fayre (Black Cat) Pub/Restaurant. No need to order, just turn up and eat what you feel like in the company of friends.

The UK Ladies Team Tournament

Today’s the day when our Ladies Team will represent Wales in the above tournament. The team will play at the Belmont Bowling Club on the seafront in Fleetwood.

The Club Opens Today for the 2025 Season

Volunteers have worked hard over the past couple of days to get the grounds and clubhouse ready for today’s opening. Arrive before 1:00pm as the Club’s President Shan Eccles will roll the first bowl of the season and the green will then be open to members.

Our Vardre Deganwy Ladies Team will be representing Wales in the British Crown Green Bowling Association (BCGBA) Ladies Club Championship Tournament on 22nd March from 9:30am. Our team will be playing at Anchorsholme Bowling Club with the Semi-Finals and Finals to be held on the bowling green at the Cleveleys WMC.
