Llandudno Beacon Lighting Event to Commemorate, on 6th June 2024, the 80th D-Day Anniversary

At 8:35pm on Thursday 6th June, there will be a beacon lighting at the Bandstand on Llandudno Promenade. Click Here to see the invitation to the event from the Llandudno Town Council.

Our North Wales Coast ‘B’ Team had a trip down the coast on Saturday to Penmaenmawr.

Clwydian League Preliminary Rounds of the Cup Competition will take place on Friday 7th June. Our ‘A’ Team will play against Mochdre Park ‘A’ at Min y Don. our ‘B’ Team will play against Bryn Newydd ‘A’ at Denbigh.

No, not us, sadly. But the 2024 Tour of Britain Women’s Cycling event will be arriving in Llandudno on 6th June, having cycled earlier that day from Welshpool via the western side of the Conwy Valley. In the recent “Bowler with the Bendiest Knees Competition”, David L and John B competed on the green in the Final. David L went in with the riskier “Slipping in Sideways Semi-Kneel Position”, whilst John B tried the more traditional “Royal, Double Half-Knee Bend”. You decide on the winner.
