The classics scholars amongst us will also know that this is a phrase usually abbreviated to prox. acc. But what does it mean? It means: Runner-up to prize-winner. News Just in From the Committee
The Club Committee has appointed Marina Roberts as the interim Chairman, to undertake the role between now and the next Annual General Meeting due to the recent sad loss of David Rogers Jones. She’ll need everyone’s support to carry out this role and we’re grateful to her for taking on this responsibility.
