North Wales Wildlife Trust tells us that Invasive Species include plants, animals and other living things that have been introduced beyond their natural range and cause damage to our environment, economy, health and the way we live.
The Trust has a new multimedia exhibition “Beyond the Boundary” where you can find out how garden plants were brought to Wales from across the world, and how their escape from gardens can be detrimental to nature to this day. It is currently showing at Storiel in Bangor but moves to the Great Orme Visitor Centre (Llandudno) in mid-June so do pop it in your diary and go along to take a look.
