Bowlers at 61 council-operated crown greens in Leeds are currently faced with the threat of the number of crown greens in their area to be reduced by about half. The city council is undertaking a local public consultation, which is open until 26th January, asking whether to reduce the number of greens or to keep them all open and increase the cost of season tickets to players.
