Walled Towns Competition

This annual competition, played between Vardre Deganwy, Caernarfon, Beaumaris and Denbigh bowling clubs, was held yesterday on our green. An overcast day, interspersed with heavy showers, did not soak the players enthusiasm. 18-games of doubles were played, with a short break for a buffet lunch in the clubhouse. The outcome was a win for Beaumaris. Congratulations to all the participants and many thanks to Conwy Town Council for providing the buffet refreshments.
