After winning the 1st Stage of the Tour that ended in Llandudno on Thursday, Lotte Kopecky also won the 2nd Stage that was a circular route from Wrexham through the Horseshoe Pass and back into Wrexham. On the 2nd Stage, she broke away from the Peloton together with the British rider Anna Henderson, and they had an exciting race to the finishing line. Stage 3 from Warrington was won by Kopecky’s teammate but Kopecky remained top of the General Classification. On the 4th, and final, Stage yesterday, Kopecky came in 4th but won the overall event, plus she won the Sprinter’s Jersey. Lizzie Deignan, of the Great Britain Cycling Team, won the Queen of the Mountains plus the Combativity Award. Anna Henderson took 2nd place overall and was crowned the Best British Rider.
