If the green isn’t benefitting from the sunshine, then Ian certainly is. A couple of drier days has certainly helped dry the green a bit quicker. Another cut to 8mm took place on Monday morning, before tackling a verticut and partial seeding on Tuesday morning.
The green is still soft, so Ian and David L are likely to get off quite a bit of thatch with the verticut. Hopefully they will be able to roll and aerate the grass on Thursday/Friday before a further cut to perhaps 6mm before Saturday. They don’t want to take too much off too quickly as it will lose its current colour and texture (looks good at moment).
