Latin phrases that might be useful on or around the bowling green:

• Do you come here often? Frequentasne hunc locum?
• You’ll just have to hold it in. Opus est tibi urinam inhibere.
• I think she’s from another planet. Arbitror eam de planeta alia venisse.
• I am not being unreasonable. Non sum iniquus.
• You did a terrific job. Podex perfectus es. (A hidden insult).
• It ain’t over ’til it’s over. Id imperfectum manet dum confectum erit.
• Well you win some, you lose some. Modo vincis, modo vinceris.
• I hope we’ll still be friends. Spero nos familiares mansuros.
• Do I drink this or stick my fingers in it? Hocine bibo aut in eum digitos insero?
