Did you know that Annual General Meetings were first introduced to UK society in the first Companies Act 1862, for the benefit of a company’s shareholders. Although our Club is a non-incorporated sports association, this is also the most effective way of keeping Club Members involved in the running of the Club. The day-to-day running of the Club is undertaken by a few individuals voted in by registered Club Members at the AGM.
