DaveH (Right): Well Dave, why is a comet more like a dog than the Dog Star?

DaveL (Left): Hmm Dave, why?

DaveH: Because it has a tail and the Dog Star hasn’t.

DaveL: OK Dave, but how about this one: Why does the advantage lie with the Dog Star?

DaveH: Don’t know Dave, why?

DaveL: Because, while the comet is a transitory affair, the Dog Star is a real sky(e) terrier.
